Ticket Policies

Ticket Orders

Visa, Discover, MasterCard and American Express are accepted. To order by phone, call (816) 471-0400. To order online, click here. There are no refunds or exhanges on ticket orders. If you have questions about the online ordering process email tickets@kcsymphony.org.

Online Ticket Purchases
Single ticket purchases are available online until 48 hours before each concert. There is an additional $4 charge to purchase a single ticket and an additional $10 charge to purchase a subscription online. Tickets purchased no later than one week prior to the concert will be mailed to the address listed on the online order form. Tickets purchased the week of the concert can be picked up at the box office will-call window. Ticket Returns
If you are unable to attend a concert, return your tickets to the Symphony. The Ticket Office will mail you a contribution receipt for returned tickets if received before the date printed on your tickets. Or, tear tickets in half, and fax a copy to (816) 471-0976 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For questions email tickets@kcsymphony.org.

Student, Senior Citizen and Group Discounts
Students can purchase $8 Student Express tickets to Classical concerts and $10 Student Express tickets to Pops concerts at the ticket window two hours before concert time with a valid student I.D. Seniors receive a 15% discount on all individual tickets. Groups of 10 or more receive a range of discounts depending upon the size of the group. Call (816) 471-1100 for more information. Concert Event Policies
  • Please check your tickets for the correct performance, date and time. All programs, artists, dates and times are subject to change.
  • Kansas City Symphony (KCS) concerts begin promptly at the announced starting time. Latecomers will be seated only when appropriate breaks in the program allow. Patrons who leave the hall before or during a performance will not be reseated until after the completion of the work.
  • No refunds. Discounts given at time of purchase only. One admission per ticket. If you are a subscriber and are unable to attend theperformance, you may donate your subscription ticket and receive an acknowledgment for tax purposes. Please call (816) 471-0400 at least 24 hours prior to performance time. Exchanges are subject to KCS policy, which may change from time to time at the sole discretion of the KCS.
  • Concerts may be taped or photographed by the KCS for promotional purposes. Your attendance at any KCS concert shall be deemed your consent to appear in KCS promotional materials, without compensation.
  • Tickets are a license that may be revoked and admission refused. Ticket-holder assumes all risks incidental to the event, whether before, during or after. Use of recording devices, cameras, mobile phones or electronic devices is prohibited during KCS concerts, and these items may be confiscated if used. Ticket-holder agrees not to photograph or record the concert in any form; violation automatically terminates this license.
  • No children under 8 admitted to KCS Classical, Pops or Chamber Orchestra concerts. Children are welcome to attend Family Series concert, holiday concerts, and concerts that are part of our Educational Outreach programs. Patrons of all ages must have a ticket to enter the concert hall, must sit in the seat indicated on the ticket, and should be able to sit quietly for a 2-hour concert. We reserve the right to revoke admission for repeated disruptions.
  • Physicians should leave their name and seat location with the Ticket Office.
