Join Steven Jarvi and our Chamber Players as they explore the music of Scandinavia. A smooth and melodic Sibelius work is followed by Nielsen's engaging and animated Little Suite. A sorrowful Svendsen folk song is followed by the patriotic tune that would become the Swedish national anthem. Grieg's Holberg Suite, based on 18th-century dance forms, concludes this Nordic night of music.
