Free Hard Hat Concert - Jan. 17 Members of the Kansas City Symphony will perform a free chamber music concert at the offices of JE Dunn Construction at 17th and Baltimore. Learn more about the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and hear some of the great masterworks of the 20th century and beyond. Space is limited, tickets are required.
Stern Conducts Mahler - Jan. 23-24 Gustav Mahler famously said, "A symphony must be like the world. It must contain everything." In his First Symphony, which boasts folk tunes, sounds of nature and funeral marches, Mahler set out to show just what he meant.
